My mom is finally cast and boot free! I thought it would only be fitting to have Dylan's 30 week picture with my mom since she finally got clearance today for freedom! Well, she doesn't think so because she still has to wear an ankle brace, but she'll be wearing shoes!
This past Friday was Dave's birthday so I took him on a little adventure. It started by bringing Dylan to Dave's dad's so Christine could watch him (thanks again!), took the El to the city (thanks for the help, Jen), and a cab to Navy Pier. We went to Margaritaville and then on the Mystic Blue dinner cruise. We had a great time!
And on Sunday we were in the Itasca chili cook-off! We didn't win, but had a nice time. I think our chili was the best. People just don't like things that are different!!
Stay tuned for the big 7 months post! My little boy is getting so big :)

Yeah for the boot to be gone!!! Yeah for 30 weeks. Time sure does fly.
